Santa Catarina fortalece turismo com 160 municípios no Mapa Nacional do Turismo

Mapa do Turismo Santa Catarina

Com a última atualização do Mapa Nacional do Turismo, realizada nesta sexta-feira, 29, Santa Catarina registra 160 municípios cadastrados. Esse marco representa 54% de todas as 295 cidades catarinenses e demonstra o fortalecimento turístico no estado.

Além do feito, Santa Catarina também possui 2 das 15 Instâncias de Governança Regionais (IGRs) com todos os municípios turísticos cadastrados. Localizados no norte catarinense, a IGR Vale dos Encantos e a IGR Caminho dos Príncipes se tornaram as primeiras do estado a estarem em total conformidade com os critérios do Mapa do Turismo.

Essa conquista resulta de um trabalho coletivo. Como reforça a Diretora de Inovação, Marketing e Promoção, Dirlei Barbieri, “a Setur, em seu segundo ano de criação, vem fazendo um trabalho excepcional em conjunto com os interlocutores regionais”. Ao longo de  2023 e 2024, a Secretaria realizou encontros e incentivou a aproximação entre os municípios e seus representantes turísticos das IGRs a fim de fomentar o Mapa Nacional do Turismo.

Além disso, é fundamental destacar o impacto do turismo nos municípios que integram o mapa. “Com 160 cidades cadastradas, estamos reforçando Santa Catarina no cenário de turismo nacional e internacional. A partir desse incentivo, podemos melhorar os nossos atrativos e descobrir muito do nosso potencial turístico”, destaca Barbieri.

Mapa Nacional do Turismo: o que é e sua importância

Instituído pela Lei federal 14.978/2024, o Mapa do Turismo integra o Programa de Regionalização do Turismo para definir as regiões territoriais que recebem, pelo Ministério do Turismo, incentivos às políticas públicas e de desenvolvimento turístico. Dessa forma, o Governo Federal prioriza os municípios que adotam o turismo como estratégia a fim de otimizar os recursos. O Ministério do Turismo atualiza os dados semanalmente.

Integrar o Mapa do Turismo reflete no acesso a recursos financeiros, além de facilitar a gestão dos recursos destinados ao turismo. Ademais, os municípios incluídos no Mapa ganham mais visibilidade promocional turística. Isso porque, dentre as demais vantagens, os profissionais do setor do turismo também podem receber incentivo e desenvolvimento técnico especializado.

Qualquer município pode integrar o Mapa Nacional do Turismo, desde que cumpra os critérios estabelecidos por lei. A Secretaria de Estado do Turismo de Santa Catarina (Setur/SC), por meio da Gerência de Políticas Públicas e Governança Turística, e os interlocutores de cada IGR também realizam o trabalho de intermediar e orientar os municípios interessados.
