Vale dos Encantos: lançamento oficial da nova região turística de Santa Catarina

Enriquecendo o mapa do turismo brasileiro, será lançada nesta quinta-feira, 27 de junho, oficialmente a 15ª região turística de Santa Catarina, a “Vale Dos Encantos”, no Seminário Sagrado Coração de Jesus, em Corupá. A nova Instância de Governança Regional (IGR) é composta por sete municípios da AMVALI (Associação dos Municípios do Vale do Itapocu), Corupá, Barra Velha, Jaraguá do Sul, São João do Itaperiú, Schroeder, Guaramirim e Massaranduba, os quais reúnem muita cultura e história para impulsionar o desenvolvimento turístico do local. 

A criação da nova IGR foi confirmada pelo Ministério do Turismo em abril deste ano, após visita técnica de representantes da Secretaria de Turismo aos municípios do Vale do Itapocu. 

A iniciativa é fruto da união entre o colegiado de Turismo da AMVALI, a CIGAMVALI (Consórcio Intermunicipal de Gestão Pública do Vale do Itapocu) e a IGR Vale dos Encantos, composta por representantes do setor público de cada município e do setor privado, preferencialmente por representantes do COMTUR (Conselho Municipal de Turismo).

A Vale dos Encantos se caracteriza pela diversidade de paisagens, desde o litoral com suas praias e costões até a serra com suas cachoeiras, assim, fortalecendo o turismo regional através de ações conjuntas e projetos estratégicos para o desenvolvimento turístico sustentável. O presidente do Conselho Gestor da IGR Vale dos Encantos, João Antônio Alves Vicente, também Secretário de Turismo de Barra Velha e coordenador do Colegiado de Turismo, destaca: “Precisamos pensar no turismo como uma ferramenta econômica de grande poder, capaz de gerar emprego, riquezas e consequentemente o desenvolvimento das cidades que integram este grupo”. 

A Vale dos Encantos entra no cenário nacional com um trabalho já consolidado, com diversos projetos em desenvolvimento para divulgar os potenciais turísticos da região, sejam eles no litoral, no interior ou na serra.
